Turnout rugs for horses have to give protection particularly against cold, wind and bad weather.What is required here is a tear resistant and robust material with exceptionally comfortable wearing qualities, since a horse will not only move around in the blanket, but will also wear it for a lengthy time and possibly roll on its back while wearing it.

We recommend, therefore, as exterior material, IBENA PolyLine “Leinwand” or IBENA PolyLine “Glatt” a well suited polypropylene material, quilted with a soft Molton material or a fleece in a 2 or 3-layer composition and eventually also a liner.

In addition, the outer fabric – IBENA PolyLine - has an extremely good easy-care quality. When necessary, it can be cleaned with a damp sponge or, alternatively, machine-washed at 30° C.
